Halo attempts to take down the Black Queen, but with the help of Vortex, who is under her spell, she is unable to. Master Zen manages to break the spell, but Vortex is very loyal and Sara Thorne is not free for long..

Halo and Simon are both slaves to the Black Queen and she treats them as such. Her loyal servant Cerberus guards the Amulet which can potentially destroy the curse. When Simon finds a way to obtain it, does he succeed in ridding the world of the evil spirit known as the Black Queen? Or does it backfire on him?
